We take pride in designing and crafting stylish and sophisticated caskets, caskets which in various shapes and silhouettes are born of solid-wood craftsmanship. The hardwood is carved from the innermost, hardest, and most dense part of a tree.
The trunks are sawed, becoming 4-5 cm-high tables up to four metres in length. In these proportions, the wood can express its true personality. The quality of the wood comes from its hardness, solidity, and durability. It is hard to recognise: often - for the uninitiated - the wood’s virtues are confused for flaws, such as flames, rare ingrained knots, varied tones from light to dark, darker striations over a light base, marks that represent the wood's texture...each variety is distinguished, indeed, both by its grain, texture or colour - its nature is never the same, and so one casket is never identical to another. Nature can never be cloned.
There is an infinite variety of wood families: we rely on woods like Mahogany, walnut, afrormosia, OAK, ASH for the top-line caskets, and LARCH OR YELLOW PINE for the mid-range, and PINE or FIR for the economy line.

The simplicity, purity of the smooth coffin’s line allow the quality, colours, fibres, and grain to shine through. Each piece is unique and inimitable.
Compared to the inlaid or engraved casket, the smooth coffin is offered in the DOVETAIL JOINT version. These are special joints inlaid into the wood without the use of nails. This technique is particularly well-respected amongst master wood-workers, who recognise the elegance and challenging execution, done entirely by hand.
In addition to standard finishes, or environmentally friendly wax and water-based finishes, for the smooth coffin were are able to offer other types of finishes upon request, including glossy, satin, decape’, or lacquered, with custom colours.
Rotastyle has a vast assortment of OFF-SIZE CASKETS, from the narrowest to the shortest, as well as off-size length and/or width, as needed, for particular customer needs, as well as bespoke coffins.
